An Important Update from All Creatures Veterinary Clinic
After many years of caring for pets and families in the Charleston community, we are saddened to share that All Creatures Veterinary Clinic will be closing our doors this fall. It has been an incredible privilege to be part of this community, and we are deeply grateful to the generations of clients who have trusted us with the care of their beloved pets.
Unfortunately, we were unable to renew the lease for our current location, and as a result, we are unable to continue operating our practice in this building. With no viable options to remain at our current location, we have made the difficult decision to close the practice.
Our final day for veterinary appointments, medication refills, and food pickups will be Friday, October 30, 2026.
Dr. Hammond and Dr. McCarron, as well as our care team, are actively searching for the right fit so they can continue providing the same great care in the Charleston community. We will provide updates as they are available.
We know that transitioning your pet’s care can feel overwhelming, and our team is committed to making this process as smooth as possible. A member of our team will remain available at the hospital through November 15, 2026, to provide transition support, including:
- Transferring medical records
- Assisting with prescription transfers
- Helping clients schedule appointments with a new veterinary provider
- Answering questions about your pet’s transition of care
Requesting Medical Records
For quick access to basic medical information, including vaccination history, many records are also available through the PetDesk app.
To request a copy of your pet’s medical records, please email All Creatures Veterinary Clinic at allcreaturessc@yourvetdoc.com.
Please allow 3–5 business days for digital copies to be sent by email and up to one week for physical copies to be mailed or made available for pickup.
Information regarding how to request medical records after our Charleston location has fully closed will be shared as soon as it becomes available.
Managing Prescriptions and Treatments
If your pet has an ongoing prescription, we encourage you to plan ahead for any medications or refills they may need during this transition. Prescription refills can be managed through our online pharmacy and the PetDesk app through October 30, 2026.
Our team will also be available through November 15, 2026, to assist with prescription transfers as you transition your pet’s care to a new veterinary provider.
Continuing Your Pet’s Care
We understand that finding a convenient option close to home is important. We would like to provide a few additional nearby veterinary hospitals that are not affiliated with our practice but may be able to continue caring for your pets.

Thank You, Charleston
It has been an incredible privilege to care for the pets and families of the Charleston community. Over the years, you have trusted us through new puppies and kittens, annual visits, illnesses, emergencies, difficult goodbyes, and so many moments in between. We are deeply grateful for that trust, and for the relationships we have built with our clients and their pets.
While saying goodbye to our hospital is difficult, our priority during this transition remains the same as it has always been: helping ensure that our patients continue to receive the care they need.
To our clients, our patients, and the Charleston community: thank you for your support, your trust, and for allowing All Creatures Veterinary Clinic to be part of your families. It has truly been our honor to care for yours.
